Description

Verily is seeking an experienced leader for the company’s centralized Information Technology (IT) organization. The scope of IT encompasses application engineering, business systems, enterprise architecture, networking, device management, IT program management, and IT support. Verily thrives in healthcare, one of the most complex and sensitive domains for IT professionals, supporting a wide range of innovative, AI-enabled, and regulated healthcare software products and platforms. We are seeking an outstanding IT leader to build, mentor, and lead the team responsible for ensuring Verily has world-class IT systems, support, and productivity. Responsibilities
  • Set Verily’s IT strategy and roadmap, supporting all corporate systems, employees, and contractors.

  • Recruit top talent and build and lead an excellent team of highly technical IT professionals.

  • Be a leader in evolving Verily’s corporate and business systems to deliver world-class capabilities, productivity tools, and training to drive ROI and AI-based automation.

  • Collaborate with Verily Leadership, building strong and trusting relationships with Engineering, Product, Clinical, Regulatory and Quality, Security, Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years of progressive management experience in IT organizations, including multi-site operations and onshore/offshore teams and vendor management and negotiation.

  • 10 years of technical experience in IT, enterprise architecture, and relevant tools and platforms.

  • Proven track record developing innovative IT applications and integrating with security and engineering groups.

  • Hands-on and collaborative approach to establishing a cost-effective company-wide IT strategy.

  • Direct experience with Salesforce, Workday, SAP, Google Workspace, or equivalent tools, and hands-on experience with hyperscaler platforms, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and/or Azure.

  • Technical undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of working experience in the healthcare field, including familiarity with HIPAA.

  • Direct experience with FedRAMP and GDPR.

This role is eligible for Verily-sponsored immigration support.

Compensation Information

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $209,000-$312,000 + bonus  + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
