Company Overview

Ambiq is on a mission to enable intelligence everywhere — powering the AI edge revolution with the world's lowest-power semiconductor solutions.

Built on our proprietary sub- and near-threshold technology, our chips deliver multi-fold improvements in energy efficiency without costly process scaling. Since 2010, we've shipped over 300 million units to customers building smarter wearables, medical devices, IoT products, and AI-powered edge applications.

Our cross-functional teams span design, research, development, production, marketing, sales, and operations across Austin, Hsinchu, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Singapore. We move fast, tackle hard problems, and create space for people to grow through complex, meaningful work that shapes the future of technology.

We're looking for self-motivated, creative problem-solvers who are eager to push technological limits and make a real impact in energy efficiency.

  • Define high-impact value propositions, positioning, and value-based pricing/packaging to maximize profitability
  • Build and validate business cases (TAM/SAM/SOM, cost, margin, ROI) and prioritize investments.

Go-to-Market & Launch

  • Lead integrated product launches (alpha/beta, enablement, content, PR/analyst, and events)
  • Partner with Sales and BD on flagship design-win strategy, funnel health, and channel programs.
  • Ensure the creation of powerful sales enablement assets including solution briefs, benchmarks, competitive battlecards, demos/reference designs

Customer & Market Insight

  • Act as executive sponsor building C-level relationships with strategic customers to capture future requirements for strategic customers
  • Maintain deep competitive analysis and market intelligence to guide roadmap, positioning, and messaging

People Leadership & Operations

  • Own annual planning for portfolio P&L targets, pricing strategy, and budget
  • Drive tight alignment and prioritization across engineering, marketing, and sales leaders to ensure timely execution of the product roadmap and resolve critical trade-offs
  • Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; establish clear career paths and objectives and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence
  • Institute data-driven product operating rhythms (MRD/PRD reviews, launch gates, KPI dashboards).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Translate customer/market needs into crisp requirements for Architecture, Silicon, Firmware, AI tools, and Software.
  • Partner with Applications/FAE to scale customer support, developer experience, reference designs, and ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain/Operations on forecasts and product plans

What Success Looks Like (KPIs)

  • Market share growth and AI/software solution attach rate in key ultra-low-power applications
  • Ecosystem expansion measured by the number of active partners, developers, or design-ins for reference solutions
  • Gross margin improvement through value-based pricing and mix.
  • On-time launches with successful revenue contribution and healthy ROI from new product introductions
  • Team Health & Retention: Employee engagement scores and retention of top talent

What You Bring

  • 15+ years in Product Management/Product Marketing for semiconductors, embedded systems, or edge AI; 7+ years managing PM/PMM leaders and ICs.
  • Proven ownership of silicon + software portfolios (MCU/SoC/ASIC, SDKs, toolchains, reference designs).
  • Demonstrated success taking complex technical products from concept to high-volume production.
  • Strong financial acumen (pricing, margin, P&L) and analytical rigor (market models, experiment design).
  • Customer-facing credibility with OEM/ODM/Tier-1 partners; excellent executive communication.
  • Ability to synthesize architecture trade-offs (power, performance, area, BOM) into marketable value.
  • Education: BS in EE/CE/CS (or related) required; MS/MBA preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with wearables/hearables, consumer health, industrial IoT, medical and/or vision/audio AI at the edge.
  • Ecosystem chops: Zephyr, RTOS, TensorFlow Lite Micro/TVM, compilers/Kernels, model optimization/ML perf.
