Head of Global Professional Services Operations

If so, SailPoint is looking for a Head of Global Professional Services Operations to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP of Revenue Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Customer Officer (CCO) and Vice President of Professional Services, including their teams, ensuring PS initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively.

This role is directionally responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operations of our Professional Services team. This strategic role requires exceptional management skills and a deep understanding of both one-time and subscription-based Professional Services business models. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, ensure top-notch service delivery, and contribute to the overall success of our client engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Professional Services team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with company objectives and client needs.

Process Optimization:

  • Analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline operations, reduce cycles, and improve service quality.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the Professional Services team.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and metrics to senior management.

Forecasting:

  • Develop and maintain forecasts for aspects like bookings, revenue, and project pipelines. 
  • Support the regional professional services leaders with intelligence and insights to accelerate growth.
  • Support Sales Strategy and Operations colleagues by standardizing global and regional common processes that are currently decentralized.
  • Create dashboards from end to end to deep dive into key performance metrics and drive deep understanding of business performance

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with other departments, including Sales, Customer Success, Contracts, and Finance, to ensure a seamless process.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the team to enhance communication and knowledge sharing.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance the service delivery model.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Toolset & Automation:

  • Own the ongoing development and automation of our Professional Services toolset to drive operational capability and support growth targets.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in professional services operations within a B2B SaaS company.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of Professional Services business models and client service delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Salesforce, Certinia (formerly FinancialForce), and CPQ.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$130,900 - $187,000 - $243,100

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
