Why Socure?

Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day.

We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. If you want predictability or narrow scope, this won’t be your place. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading.

Socure is seeking a strategic, highly collaborative Head of Public Relations & Analyst Relations to drive day-to-day execution and momentum across our integrated communications function.

This role reports directly to the Head of Communications & Brand Innovation. The Head of Comms sets the overarching vision, narrative direction, and strategic priorities for the brand. The Director serves as a senior strategic partner responsible for operationalizing that vision — translating strategy into high-impact programs, ensuring consistent execution, and advancing our objectives with creativity, rigor, and measurable results.

This is not an order-taker role. It is a senior leadership position for someone who brings expertise, perspective, and proactive ideas to the table — while ensuring disciplined execution and daily forward motion across PR, AR, influencer engagement, and campaign-based communications.

You will lead corporate PR, analyst relations (including Gartner Magic Quadrant strategy), influencer ecosystem development, and media strategy — while partnering closely with Content, Social, Product Marketing, and GTM to execute integrated, campaign-style communications programs that amplify Socure’s market leadership.

What You’ll DoIntegrated Communications Execution
  • Partner with the Head of Communications & Brand Innovation to execute against overarching narrative, positioning, and brand goals.

  • Translate strategic direction into cohesive, cross-functional communications campaigns spanning earned media, analyst engagement, influencer strategy, content, and social amplification.

  • Ensure daily momentum against established objectives while identifying creative ways to elevate impact.

  • Collaborate closely with Content, Social, Product Marketing, Demand Gen, and GTM teams to deliver integrated storytelling across channels.

Public Relations & Media Strategy
  • Lead development and execution of Socure’s media relations strategy across business, technology, fintech, cybersecurity, and trade press.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top-tier journalists and editors.

  • Manage external communications calendar and day to day priorities to ensure editorial priorities are balanced against business goals.

  • Write and review press releases, media pitches, executive briefing materials, bylines, and thought leadership content.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to insert Socure into breaking industry news cycles using proprietary data, fraud insights, and trend analysis.

  • Manage PR agency relationships to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and measurable performance.

Analyst Relations Leadership
  • Own day-to-day analyst relations strategy and execution, including proactive briefings and relationship management.

  • Drive strategy and preparation for Gartner Magic Quadrant and other key industry evaluations, this includes developing a POV on our submission and running point on project management across the organization.

  • Build strong relationships with established analyst firms (Gartner, Forrester, Liminal, etc.) as well as emerging analyst voices and independent influencers shaping the identity and fraud landscape.

  • Develop compelling positioning narratives and briefing materials that accurately reflect Socure’s innovation and differentiation.

  • Monitor analyst coverage and sentiment, ensuring strong message pull-through and competitive positioning.

Influencer & Community Building
  • Develop and grow an ecosystem of industry influencers, fintech voices, cybersecurity thought leaders, and emerging digital trust commentators.

  • Build long-term influencer engagement strategies that extend beyond traditional media.

  • Create scalable community-building initiatives that position Socure at the center of identity, fraud, and digital trust conversations.

Executive & Thought Leadership
  • Partner with executives to elevate visibility through tier 1 media, keynote opportunities, podcasts, and industry panels.

  • Translate complex AI/ML-driven identity models and fraud prevention technologies into accessible, authoritative narratives.

  • Support executive communications that position Socure leadership as category-defining voices.

Crisis & Reputation Management

  • Lead execution of crisis communications plans in partnership with Legal and executive leadership.

  • Maintain readiness playbooks and ensure proactive reputation management.

Measurement & Performance
  • Define and track KPIs across PR, AR, and influencer initiatives.

  • Analyze media quality, share of voice, analyst positioning, and campaign impact.

  • Deliver clear reporting on performance and ROI, optimizing programs accordingly.

What You Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, and analyst relations within fintech, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, or enterprise technology.

  • Demonstrated success managing both PR and AR programs, including direct experience supporting Gartner Magic Quadrant or similar evaluations.

  • Strong relationships with media, analysts, and industry influencers.

  • Proven ability to execute integrated communications campaigns across earned, owned, and influencer channels.

  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and narrative development skills.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level vision into disciplined execution.

  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Confidence navigating crisis communications and high-visibility moments.

  • Analytical rigor in measuring communications performance and impact.

  • Passion for innovation in identity verification, fraud prevention, and AI-driven risk intelligence.

What Makes This Role Unique

This is a senior leadership role with both strategic influence and operational ownership.

You will:

  • Act as a trusted partner to the Head of Communications & Brand Innovation.

  • Help shape how the identity and fraud prevention market understands Socure.

  • Own executional excellence across PR, AR, and influencer ecosystems.

  • Bring original ideas and strategic thinking — not just execution.

  • Ensure that every campaign moves the brand forward with precision and momentum.

If you thrive in environments where strategy meets action — and where communications directly shapes market leadership — this role is for you.
