ABOUT THIS ROLE

About the Role

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking an HR Business Partner to support our Dallas-based business units. This role acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, driving talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and day-to-day HR execution in a fast-paced fintech environment.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with client-group leaders on workforce planning, org design, and talent strategy
  • Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, and difficult conversations
  • Use employee data and HR metrics to identify trends and recommend proactive interventions
  • Lead or support talent reviews, compensation planning cycles, and promotion processes
  • Manage employee relations investigations and disciplinary actions with sound judgment and documentation
  • Drive engagement initiatives and support change management for organizational shifts
  • Ensure compliance with federal, Texas state, and local employment law
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and L&D to deliver an integrated employee experience
  • Support M&A integration activities as needed (if applicable to Apex's growth strategy)
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in an HRBP or generalist role supporting client groups
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry preferred
  • Strong data fluency — comfortable pulling insights from HRIS/people analytics tools to inform decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at multiple levels, including senior leaders
  • Solid grounding in employment law (Texas and federal)
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; PHR/SHRM-CP a plus
  • High discretion and judgment — this role handles sensitive, confidential employee matters daily
