The HR Business Partner performs diversified human resource functions with a greater emphasis on job duties that require strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent judgment and confidentiality. This position is responsible for the employment process by ensuring that every new employee has an accurate and complete personnel file containing all regulatory and facility required documentation. The HR Business Partner completes the day-to-day functions by completing employment offers for each new hire and other activities related to compensation, recruiting, reporting and other areas of Human Resources. This position takes complete responsibility for all facets of Human Resources by ensuring that all customer needs are met.   The HR Business Partner facilitates positive working relationships, mentors others and focuses on client needs. The HR Business Partner fosters open and frank discussion of issues with others; understands and focuses on the needs of people and the organization; accommodates and adapts to different circumstances and audiences, and; takes initiative and solves problems.  This position works collaboratively with the HR Manager on special projects and assignments that are requested by Corporate HR and the Administrative Team (e.g., Clinical Ladder, Allied Health Professionals, Open Enrollment, employment screening, etc.).   The HR Business Partner demonstrates initiative, flexibility and adaptability to proactively and positively solve problems and respond to the changing needs of the Hospital and our internal and external clients.  The HR Business Partner serves as a resource and role model for the junior Human Resources staff members and performs all HR services, providing a single point of contact for designated areas.

 
 
 
 
 
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Related Field
Preferred: Master’s Degree
 
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Three (3) years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
Preferred: Five (5) years or more of Human Resources experience, including 3 years of generalist experience and minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience.
 
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: 
Ability to effectively interface with all levels of employees.
Proficient computer skills MS WORD, MS Excel and HRIS/HRMS system.
Demonstrated strong analytical and organizational skills.

Delray Medical Center, part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 536-bed acute care hospital spanning 30 acres, employing over 1,700 employees, 700 physicians and serving southern Palm Beach County for over 40 years. As both a community hospital and state-designated Level I Trauma Center, Delray Medical Center offers several specialized services including advanced cardiac and vascular facilities, orthopedics, neurosciences, emergency care and weight-loss surgery. Pinecrest Rehabilitation and Outpatient Hospital at Delray Medical Center is the only state designated brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation program in the county by the State of Florida.
