  • This position starts at $24.65. Final compensation will be determined based on experience.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing day-to-day support on HR practices and policies that deliver best in class focused HR solutions. They will work closely with the HRBPs and HRDs to support an employee-oriented, high performance culture, emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment and the ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Partners with and serves as a resource to employees, management and Human Resources staff to promote and maintain positive employee and labor relations
  • Support HRD/HRBPs with tasks related to day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Generate reports and communicate information to appropriate HRD/HRBP on a timely basis
  • Generate data from reporting in a useful and understandable format
  • Proactively identify, manage and facilitate the equitable resolution of work-related complaints and concerns
  • Maintain the Workday inbox and escalate issues to the appropriate HRD/HRBP
  • Preparation of position statements and evidence on behalf of the organization in claims related to unemployment, discrimination and other employment-related actions filed with federal/state/local agencies
  • Maintain employee records and files
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice
  • Develop a reputation as trusted adviser to your operations partners
  • Partner with the HR Service Center with associate inquiries and escalate issues if necessary
  • Generate consistent presentations for the HRD/HRBP teams
  • Collaborate with various HR functions to understand the current state benefits, compensation, recruiting, and other employment related information to be able to effectively support the organization
  • Present information to associates and leaders as well as newly integrated associates regarding HR items and activities

Other Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas ie Pivot Tables, VlookUps,
  • Experience with Workday HRIS
  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 1 to 3 Years of previous experience in HR
