We're focused on building advanced American manufacturing and we're passionate about engineering a better future filled with abundant energy.

The Role

T1 Energy is looking to hire a HR Systems & Integrations Analyst to own our people technology infrastructure and help us scale. This role begins with a deep focus on HRIS and benefits integration, then naturally expands into broader digital systems and automation work as the organization matures. You will sit at the intersection of HR, technology, and operations, and you need to be fluent in all three.

This is not a traditional HR role. We need someone who can open a UKG ticket, troubleshoot an 834 EDI file error, and then turn around and explain what happened. If you've done that kind of work before, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

Hr Systems & Benefits Integration

  • Serve as the internal technical expert and day-to-day owner of UKG Pro and BenHub; this is a hard requirement, not a nice to have.

  • Act as the primary liaison between T1 Energy and UKG's integration consultants, opening cases, managing tickets, and driving resolution on system configuration issues end to end.

  • Manage all benefit carrier file feeds (834 EDI), including Cigna, BCBS TX, Relliance MetLife, WEX, and Carrot, monitoring transmissions, identifying errors, and coordinating corrections with carriers and internal HR.

  • Perform ongoing eligibility reconciliation between UKG Pro, BenHub, and all benefit carriers, catching discrepancies before they impact employee coverage.

  • Partner with the internal HR team to accurately process new hires, terminations, life events, plan changes, and open enrollment configurations.

  • Reconfigure and expand system setups as the company grows, onboarding new entities, adding component companies, and mapping benefit plans for new populations.

Digital Systems & Automation

  • Partner with operations team to identify manual workflows that can be automated through system integrations or scripted processes.

  • Assist in building internal dashboards and reporting tools that give leadership real-time visibility into HR and operational data.

  • Help evaluate and onboard new software vendors by assessing integration feasibility and data mapping requirements.

  • Serve as a technical resource for cross-functional teams looking to reduce manual data entry and improve process efficiency across the organization.

Who You Are

  • Technically sharp and operationally grounded; you understand HR processes as well as you understand the system that supports them, and you know how to make the two work together.

  • A clear communicator who can translate complex system behavior into plain language for HR teams and translate business requirements back into technical specifications for vendors.

  • Detail-obsessed in a way that matters; you understand that a missed EDO error or an eligibility mismatch isn't a data problem, it's a coverage problem for a real employee.

  • Self-directed and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with limited hand-holding; you manage your own queue, drive your own escalations, and close your own loops.

  • Comfortable managing multiple vendor relationships and open items simultaneously without dropping the ball/

  • Energized by the idea of building systems infrastructure that scales with a company, not just maintaining what exists, but improving it.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with both UKG Pro and BenHub is required — no exceptions.

  • Demonstrated experience managing 834 EDI benefit carrier file feeds, including error identification, troubleshooting, and carrier coordination.

  • SQL or Python skills for file validation, data analysis, and light automationExperience supporting multi-entity or post-acquisition HR system integrations.

  • Background in benefits administration or HR technology at a growing or scaling company.

  • Proven ability to work directly with UKG technical consultants to open cases, escalate issues, and drive configuration changes to resolution.

  • Experience with eligibility reconciliation across HRIS and benefit carrier systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and a track record of catching system discrepancies before they become employee-facing problems.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

The T1 Way

We move fast, expect accountability, and treat people with respect. We also have a no-jerks policy: we don't tolerate big egos, bad behavior or "that's not my job attitude". Be sharp, be honest, be human. If you can hold the line and have a sense of humor, you'll fit right in.
