JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on HRIS Manager to own and optimize our HR systems, with a primary focus on Workday. This role is responsible for maintaining system integrity, implementing new modules and enhancements, and ensuring the platform evolves in line with business needs. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of HR processes, acting as a bridge between HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT.
JOB DUTIES
Serve as the primary system owner and subject matter expert for Workday.
Configure, maintain, and continuously improve Workday modules (Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, etc.).
Lead the implementation of new Workday modules, features, and system enhancements.
Stay current with Workday releases and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new functionality.
Manage system updates, including testing, validation, and deployment of new features.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across all HR systems.
Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to translate business requirements into system solutions.
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making.
Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution.
Develop and maintain system documentation, processes, and best practices.
Support integrations between Workday and third-party systems (e.g., payroll providers, benefits platforms).
Train and support end users, driving adoption and efficient system utilization.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
5+ years of HRIS experience, with strong hands-on experience in Workday.
Proven experience implementing Workday modules and managing system upgrades/releases.
Strong technical skills in configuration, business process frameworks, and reporting.
Experience with integrations (EIBs, APIs, or middleware tools).
Solid understanding of HR processes (payroll, benefits, talent, compliance).
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement improvements.
Project Management: Expertise in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in managing HR data and systems.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technology and business environments. Willingness to learn and implement new HRIS tools and practices.
Technical Skills: Expertise in HRIS platforms, data management, and analytics. Proficiency in software such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, or similar systems.
