At Popeyes, our success starts with our people. We're looking for a passionate and experienced HR Generalist to join our team and support our growing multi-state restaurant operations. This role is a key partner to our operations teams, helping leaders navigate employee relations matters, workplace investigations, compliance requirements, safety initiatives, and team member concerns across multiple markets.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with restaurant and field leaders to provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance concerns, and workplace issues
  • Conduct workplace investigations, gather facts, assess risk, and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Support EEOC claims, responses, documentation, and compliance-related matters
  • Partner with operations leaders to address employee concerns while promoting a respectful and inclusive workplace culture
  • Facilitate safety, compliance, and HR-related training sessions for field and operations teams
  • Coach leaders on employment practices, policy interpretation, corrective action, and best HR practices
  • Support leave administration, including FMLA and other protected leave programs
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states
  • Build strong partnerships with operations leaders to support team member engagement and business performance
  • Serve as a trusted HR resource for field leadership and restaurant teams
What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of HR Generalist, Employee Relations, HR Business Partner, or related HR experience
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing employee relations matters
  • Knowledge of EEOC processes, FMLA, ADA, and employment law compliance
  • Strong communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience supporting multi-unit, multi-state operations preferred
  • Restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other fast-paced operational experience strongly preferred

This position is based in an office environment and requires regular interaction with field leaders and restaurant teams across multiple states. Occasional travel may be required to support training, investigations, meetings, and operational initiatives.

The role requires prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, participating in virtual and in-person meetings, and communicating with team members via phone, email, and video conferencing. The ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, may be required.
