Job Description

Description of Assignment

 

A. Energy Research
• Research on the evolving power landscape in UOB’s key markets (with a focus on renewables and transition) to observe existing developments that could potentially bring financing opportunities.
• Produce / Present insights on a targeted market and/or subsector relevant to the power market.

B. Pipeline Deal Analysis and Execution Assistance
• Conduct due diligence research and preliminary analysis for pipeline deals
• Assist deal team in Due Diligence (“DD”) workstreams for deals under execution, (DD information analysis / data management)

 

Learning Outcomes

 

A. Energy Research
• Understanding of risk mitigation (credit and/or otherwise) and knowledge of universe of products relating to financing in the energy sector.
• Moderate competence in analysis of various risks applicable to projects / companies.
• Ability to provide preliminary recommendations to projects / companies on appropriate application of risk mitigation in financing of such projects.
B. Team Support for Pipeline Deals and Deal Execution
• Ability to understand, analyze and summarize deal information concisely for presentation to senior members of the team

• Understanding of the importance of the various DD workstreams that is necessary for execution of project finance deals
