Purpose of Role

  • Sells the loan products offered by the Company by meeting and calling on clients, referral sources, realtors, and business prospects at their homes and places of employment or in other social settings away from any Company office as well as following up on leads from branch and/or home office.
  • Key Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Manages sales opportunities and develops a marketing strategy for assigned territory.
  • Enacts execution of that strategy with support and guidance from the Area Sales Manager (ASM).
  • Demonstrates ability to fund a minimum of 2.5 Reverse Mortgage loans per month.
  • Produces high quality loans which meet Reverse Mortgage guidelines while providing superior customer service.
  • Solicits Reverse Mortgages from various sources including Community Outreach Programs, attorneys, healthcare organizations, financial professionals, past customers and other related sources.
  • Manages personal pipeline production and achieves production goals.
  • Resolves problems relating to closing and funding of loans.
  • Follows the Company standards for delivery of integrity, client focus, teamwork and respect for each individual in every interaction.
  • Exhibits observable sense of urgency in the execution of all job functions and duties.
  • Meets or exceeds levels of Customer Service delivery established by the Company.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies

  • At least 6 months of experience with Reverse Mortgage Sales
  • Must have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have experience in public speaking and be able to deliver high-impact presentations to large, diverse groups
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency
  • Successful completion of reverse mortgage originator training is required
  • All reverse mortgage consultants are required to be primarily engaged in the sales of reverse mortgage products, and are required to be customarily and regularly outside of the office and outside of his/her home office making sales of reverse mortgages
  • Prior experience working with automated Loan Origination Systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is ($57,500 - $65,000), plus commission plan is inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer. We offer a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time-off benefits, flexible spending account, 401(k) with employer match, and ESPP.
