CMA INSIDE SALES JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose:

The Fluke Condition Monitoring and Alignment (CMA) division is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand adoption of Fluke's reliability solutions. This role serves as a trusted advisor to customers, leveraging a consultative sales approach to understand maintenance and asset management challenges and position Fluke's condition monitoring, alignment, and connected reliability solutions to improve operational performance and equipment uptime.

Working closely with sales, marketing, channel partners, and technical resources, the Inside Sales Account Manager contributes to business growth by developing customer opportunities, increasing customer retention, and supporting strategic sales objectives across the CMA portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with existing customers to understand their needs, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and facilitate account expansion.
  • Develop and execute proactive sales campaigns targeting specific customer segments or market opportunities.
  • Active role in territory planning and business development for efficiency gains within territories.
  • Driving After Sales process to increase attach and upsell rates.
  • Manage the inbound lead process, including qualification, follow-up, and escalation as needed, to ensure leads are effectively handled and converted.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, including conversion rates, pipeline development, and revenue attainment, and provide regular updates to sales leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and lead management activities in CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify new sales opportunities and inform sales strategies.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or a related role, with a focus on customer retention and revenue growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers and colleagues.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail to track and analyze sales performance metrics.
