🚀 Our Story

Partly is building the infrastructure for anyone to repair anything. We believe everything built should be repairable, and we're building frontier AI to put repair knowledge to work, starting with the $2tn automotive market.

Our model, Interpreter, is the first AI purpose-built to understand repair. Trained on 1M+ car models and 1B+ parts, it reads a repair job the way an estimator does, resolves damage into the exact purchasable part, and shows its reasoning with a confidence score. On real production jobs, an estimator working with Interpreter reaches 98.8% parts-list accuracy, against 92.1% with today's tools. It powers PartlyRepair, used by collision shops, workshops and suppliers to take the admin off the job; PartlyLabs, the agentic infrastructure enterprises use to deploy Interpreter across their own workflows; and a developer API.

Founded by ex-Rocket Lab engineers, we've raised a $50m Series B led by DST Global (Anthropic, Airbnb, Meta, TikTok, Spotify), with Blackbird Ventures, WNDR, Activant Capital, Icehouse Ventures, Square Peg, Airtree and Ecliptic Venture Capital. Hear it from the team: Why Partly exists and AI at Partly.

🖍️ This role

The Inside Sales Representative, USA will take Partly into independent collision shops across Austin, San Antonio and the surrounding markets. You’ll report to the Head of Sales, USA and work from our Austin office.

This is a phone-first, full-cycle closing role. You’ll find shops, run the demo and close the deal yourself. Independent shop owners are busy and practical, and they buy from people who respect their time, understand their workflow and show them something useful straight away.

Expect a fast-paced day: high-volume dialling into shops you’ve researched, real conversations with owners, and deals that go from cold to signed in front of you.

This is a first-hire role. You’ll be the first dedicated inside seller for independent shops in the US. What you learn on the phones becomes the playbook for the team that follows, and you’ll help bring the next hires up to speed.

💻 What will you do
  • Build your own pipeline. Run high-volume outbound by phone and email into independent collision shops, researching each one before you call.

  • Close on the first call. Open cold, run discovery, demo live and ask for the business in one conversation. When a shop needs more time, run a tight follow-up and get it over the line.

  • Win the bigger shops. Larger or more complex shops need more care. You’ll run follow-up calls, walk through the shop’s completed repair files with our specialists, and visit in person when it makes sense, grouping several visits into one trip.

  • Set new customers up to succeed. Hand every closed shop to our Onboarding and Customer Success team with everything they need to get the shop live fast.

  • Run a clean pipeline. Keep HubSpot accurate, forecast honestly, and make sure every open deal has a clear next step.

  • Write the playbook. Capture what works: sequences, talk tracks, demo flow, common objections and conversion at each stage. The next hires will learn from it.

  • Use AI to sell smarter. Research shops, prep calls, draft follow-ups and spot patterns with AI tools, including ones you build yourself.

  • Be the voice of the shop. Share objections, blockers and feature requests with our product and go-to-market teams. You’ll hear what shops need before anyone else.

🥷 Your skills
  • High-velocity closing. 2 to 4 years of quota-carrying B2B sales, with a real share of your deals closed on the first call. You know your funnel numbers and your first-call close rate.

  • A hunter’s track record. Most of your closed revenue came from your own outbound. You build your day and your pipeline without waiting to be told.

  • Live, unscripted demos. You can show a product yourself and focus only on what matters to the person you’re talking to.

  • Honest under pressure. You’re comfortable selling a product that’s still growing. When you don’t know an answer, you say you’ll find out and follow up, rather than guessing.

  • Hands-on with AI. You’ve built or automated something useful with AI in your sales work, such as call-prep prompts, a lead list builder or a custom assistant, and can explain what it changed.

  • Pipeline discipline. You manage a high-volume pipeline without dropping detail. HubSpot experience preferred.

  • Coachable. You record your calls, listen back, take feedback and get noticeably better week to week.

  • Based in Austin. You can work from our Austin office, with occasional local travel to visit shops.

  • (Preferred) Experience selling to owner-operators, such as auto repair shops, trades businesses, restaurants or small professional firms. Hands-on time in a shop, at a parts counter or running your own business counts too.

  • (Bonus) Collision or auto repair industry experience, in software, parts or paint.

Please note: if you don't have all the skills/experience listed above but believe you could be outstanding in this role, please still consider applying. Many folks, especially those from underrepresented or marginalised groups, often count themselves out. Please allow us to learn more about you and why you're exceptional!
