Your Impact
We’re looking for a talented Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales team. In this role, you will:
- Sell Acre Security’s access control solutions to business and industrial customers via phone and email.
- Support and grow our established dealer base in close partnership with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).
- Drive revenue by qualifying leads, converting inbound enquiries, and supporting quoting and order processes.
What You’ll Do
In addition to the above, your key responsibilities will include:
- Compile and maintain lists of prospective customers using sources such as trade shows, inbound enquiries, aged leads, dealers, resellers, business directories, and online research.
- Make outbound follow-up calls and emails to potential and existing customers to qualify leads and coordinate with RSMs to sell products and services.
- Handle inbound sales enquiries, including quoting and converting leads into sales.
- Build and maintain strong customer and dealer relationships alongside RSMs.
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain customer, dealer, and sales activity data in Salesforce CRM.
- Support RSMs with account and opportunity management activities, including campaigns, activity tracking, working with third-party vendors, and new customer onboarding.
- Participate in sales activities such as quoting, order tracking, and general problem-solving to support overall business success.
- Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication internally and externally.
- Assist RSMs with keeping pipeline and account activity data current and up to date.
- Develop knowledge of Acre Security business units to better support customers across our portfolio.
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Three years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read, analyse and interpret business/technical information and respond to customer and stakeholder questions.
- Solid numerical skills (e.g., fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions) to support quoting and sales activity.
- Strong problem-solving and reasoning ability to interpret technical information and resolve customer issues.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce CRM.
- NetSuite experience (preferred, not required).
- Experience supporting dealer or reseller sales models.
- Experience in access control, security technology, or a related industry.
