We are seeking Integration Engineers who are passionate about creating and supporting DevOps tools with emerging technologies to join our team. As a Integration Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.
General Responsibilities:

• Work with data/process/data owners and consumers owners to understand desired application capabilities and be able to explain limitations in non-technical terms
• Focus on building and maintaining the underlying operational aspects of the platform including remediating vulnerabilities
• Monitor platform support Slack channels and address customer questions and issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Workspace features and best practices, implementing updates and improvements as needed
• Continuously improve file storage process, governance, audit, legal & retention practices and standards
• Work within and across lines of business teams to intake, provision, and deploy solutions
• Lead the availability, resilience and scalability of the platform
• Work closely with the Architecture team to align the platforms to latest architecture and configuration
• Encourage innovation, automation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversity to a legacy process
• Develop, and utilize best practices to enhance the overall user experience of the platform
• Utilize scripting languages like HTML, Python, SQL, Robo-copy
• Working knowledge of Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services
• Collaborate with the Software Engineers to ensure software works seamlessly on the platforms
• Strong experience in application security, logging and monitoring, and auditability of access controls and data security and integrity.
• Experience in content management technologies for data classification, data labeling, data encryption, data pipelines and automation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication on technical topics and issues
• Integration knowledge and REST api's experience

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years of experience supporting or maintaining cross-platform integrations or system connectivity
• At least 3 years of experience developing or supporting API-based integrations using scripting or orchestration tools
• At least 1 year of experience driving testing, testing frameworks, or integrating new platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience working in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 3+ years of experience with deployment tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory)
• 3+ years of experience in Agile practices
• Experience managing identity and access within systems
• 4+ years of experience implementing or maintaining API-based integrations
• Experience collaborating with architects or platform teams to define integration frameworks and reference architectures
• 2+ years of experience automating infrastructure or system configuration using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or like technologies
• 2+ years of experience administering Google Workspace or a similar enterprise productivity suite
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog) to ensure integration performance and resiliency
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading small integration-focused initiatives

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Integration Engineer 3
New York, NY: $143,200 - $163,500 for Integration Engineer 3
Plano, TX: $119,400 - $136,200 for Integration Engineer 3
Richmond, VA: $119,400 - $136,200 for Integration Engineer 3
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
