The Integration Engineer will support and optimize healthcare system integrations, mainly focusing on HL7 interfaces and Mirth Connect, while collaborating with various departments and providing user support.

Superlanet is seeking an Integration Engineer for our healthcare client in Texas. This is a primarily remote position with onsite presence required approximately once per month.
This role sits on the Interface Team and focuses on supporting and optimizing system integrations across the organization’s Health IT environment, with a strong emphasis on HL7 interfaces and Mirth Connect. This role blends technical integration work with workflow analysis, user support, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Design, build, and maintain system integrations across enterprise healthcare applications
- Support and troubleshoot HL7 interfaces using Mirth Connect
- Collaborate with departments to assess system needs and recommend integration solutions
- Translate business and clinical requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Coordinate implementation of new applications and enhancements to existing systems
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement improvements or fixes
- Provide end-user training and support related to system interfaces and workflows
- Partner with data and analytics teams to support data flow and reporting needs
- Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and procedures for integrations
- Participate in testing, validation, and go-live support activities
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare IT, systems integration, or related field
- Hands-on experience with HL7 interfaces and integration engines (Mirth)
- Technical experience with systems, networking, and Active Directory
- Familiarity with enterprise applications and user support environments
- Experience with Microsoft technologies (e.g., .NET, Visual Basic, Excel, Outlook, HTML)
- Working knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Visio and Project
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working in a healthcare or hospital environment
- Familiarity with Citrix environments
- Exposure to interface standards, data mapping, and workflow optimization
- Experience developing and maintaining operational standards and procedures
Benefits
Salary based on experience $75,000 - $105,000
