Data Scientist Intern - Master's Level

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Data Science and Analytics organization at Realtor.com to identify business problems and opportunities where data science can add value.
  • Utilize advanced statistical learning and mathematical techniques to drive insights and translate them into strategic recommendations for stakeholders in the Finance and Revenue organizations.
  • Lead and guide the team in designing experiments, conducting A/B tests, and performing statistical analysis to drive actionable insights.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data pipelines, data integration, and data visualization tools to streamline the data science workflow.
  • Partner closely with Machine Learning Engineering teams to collectively enhance business processes.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year College or University, pursuing a Masters Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related degrees or related concentrations
  • Have experience in one or more of the following: SQL*,* Python, dbt, Airflow, R, Tableau, or other data tools
  • Must have a graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Must be able to complete the full internship lasting eleven weeks between Monday, June 1, 2026, through Friday, August 14, 2026
  • Able to work well in a team setting
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Able to demonstrate a positive attitude, professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong worth ethic
  • Desire to embrace new challenges
  • Experience dealing with multiple competing priorities and projects

Please note: Our Internship Program is based in Austin, TX, and follows a hybrid schedule (three days on-site, two days remote). Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available for this program.
