Whatyou could be doing as a Mechanical Engineering Intern? 

  • Participating in different aspects of mechanical design using Creo 3D CAD software. 
  • Working with the thermal team developing test procedures and setting up a new thermal lab for the testing of AI hardware. Supporting thermal testing of new hardware using various lab equipment. 
  • Support the mechanical and thermal design teams evaluating, testing and troubleshooting prototypes. 

We are looking for individuals who:
Are currently enrolled and studying towards a Mechanical Engineer Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PHD students welcome). Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience. 

Qualities that will help your application stand out: 

  • Experience using 3D CAD software (Creo preferred, not required) 
  • Good interpersonal skills with an analytical approach. 
  • Curiosity about technology outside of the classroom – personal projects, mechanical design, building projects or internships etc. 
  • Experiencing working in a lab environment, setting up and using equipment, testing and reporting data. 
  • Adaptability and willing to learn how to use unfamiliar tools and systems
