We're building an infrastructure designed for scalability, embracing data-driven decision-making and using technology to improve efficiency and ensure the best tools for the best work. Job Description

Please note that this position is open to internal candidates only. External candidates who apply will not be considered for this role.

If you're the person who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, this role was built for you. As a Training Operations Specialist on our Sales Training team, you'll coordinate the programs, schedules, content, and communications that help our sales team hit the ground running. Your work directly shapes how new hires experience Lakeshore — and how quickly they're ready to serve the educators, families, and children who depend on us.

A day on the job looks like this:

  • Keep training schedules, rosters, and onboarding materials organized and up to date across SharePoint and the New Hire Training Hub so every participant has what they need, when they need it.
  • Support the end-to-end logistics of live, virtual, and in-person training events — from room setup and materials prep to facilitator support — so learning experiences run without a hitch.
  • Prepare and distribute bi-weekly Sales Memo communications, maintaining brand consistency and tracking engagement so program updates reach the right people at the right time.
  • Maintain training content and learning resources by reviewing materials for accuracy, monitoring support channels, and responding to questions so the team always has reliable, current information.
  • Collect participation data, maintain tracking tools, and help build reports and surveys that give program owners a clear picture of what's working.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support — scheduling, travel coordination, expense processing, and recordkeeping — that keeps the Training and Enablement team moving.

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

Required:

  • 2-5 years of experience in training coordination, learning operations, project coordination, administrative support, or a closely related role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Zoom
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without dropping the details
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills — you keep people informed and follow through on commitments

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, or a related field
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
  • Familiarity with basic data analysis or reporting — reading a dashboard and drawing a simple conclusion feels natural to you
  • Background in event planning or training program support

What sets you apart:

  • You notice what's missing before someone has to ask — and you quietly fix it.
  • You stay calm when three things shift at once, re-prioritize quickly, and keep stakeholders in the loop without being prompted.
  • You treat every detail — a roster, a memo, a calendar invite — as a reflection of the team's credibility.
  • You're curious about whether the work is actually landing, not just whether it got done.
