Summer intern will support the Internal Audit team through full audit lifecycle using a data-driven approach: planning, risk assessment, code development, data analysis, visualization, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. Internship includes mentorship and a final company presentation.

What you'll do
- Operating under the supervision of an Internal Audit Leader, the intern will execute through the full lifecycle of an audit project applying a data-driven approach that will include planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, code development, data analysis, visualization and reporting.
- While the project will be performed in accordance with department and professional standards, opportunities to challenge our process and propose new audit and analytics approach will be expected.
- Help design testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives applying a data-driven approach.
- Gain an understanding of the target area of your project including operations, systems, data and risk.
- Prepare audit workpapers and reports with direct supervision.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and business owners to understand pain points and opportunities to enhance existing program, processes and controls.
- Be assigned a mentor to guide you through the internship and help with career goals.
- Present your project to the entire company at the end of the internship.
- Get direct access to our executives and leadership team, including our co-founders.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
- Currently pursuing a degree or program in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
- Expected graduation date between: 12/2026 - 12/2027
- Coding skills desired (Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
- Critical thinking decision making/problem solving skills
- Curious mindset & initiative
- Effective communicator, ability to build relations & manage expectations
- Time management skills and ability to plan and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets required
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to commit to a minimum 12 week summer internship.
- In office 3-5 days a week in Austin, TX.
