Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 5+ years of hands-on database administration experience, including significant experience with InterSystems Caché and/or InterSystems IRIS.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with database operations, configuration, troubleshooting, system design, performance tuning, capacity planning, backup/recovery, and high-availability environments.
  • Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting InterSystems IRIS Mirror and/or Caché/IRIS replication technologies.
  • Practical Linux administration experience, working knowledge of Windows Server environments, and experience supporting production systems using formal change, configuration, incident, and problem-management practices.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify, document, communicate, and resolve complex database, platform, performance, and operational issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced operations environment.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with VX130, VistA, Ensemble/HealthShare, ObjectScript/MUMPS, or Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare data platforms.
