How you succeed
It starts with understanding our customers' needs and goals. You'll work closely with them to identify the right investment products and strategies to help them achieve their objectives. You'll need to stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, and be able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise way. By building strong relationships and providing excellent service, you'll drive sales growth and achieve your targets.
What you do

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive the investment business to achieve the bank’s designated targets

  • Provide professional advisory support and coach the Premier Relationship Managers (PRMs) to meet their investment targets, with a focus towards Unit Trusts and Treasury Products

  • Provide portfolio review to clients (market views, trade ideas, explanation of products) by collaborating with PRMs in joint client meetings and acting as product specialist, and provide solutions for clients to meet their financial needs

  • Interpret and digest economic data, research reports, translate them into actionable trades or product ideas and share to PRMs

  • Oversee the daily investment transactions, work with settlement department to make sure the transactions are properly placed to Fund Houses/Treasury

  • Act as point of contact of Fund Houses/Treasury, arrange and conduct market briefing and seminar for internal/external audience

  • Work closely with Product department to streamline selling procedure, source and onboard appropriate investment products

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting

  • 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in investment advisory, research, sales, or trading in currencies, equity, or other Treasury-related products

  • Experience in Unit Trusts and portfolio allocation, in the capacity of Unit Trusts product managers or investment consultants or similar roles

  • Possess strong interest in and understanding of economics and financial markets, particularly in FX and equity markets

  • Mature, confident, and able to play a meaningful role in client meetings

  • Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, and good command of English, Mandarin, and Cantonese

  • License holder of CFA/CFP is preferrable
