Compensation: $2K per task

We are seeking experienced public-company Investor Relations professionals to contribute to a high-quality library of investor relations work products. In this role, you will complete self-contained IR exercises using realistic mock materials, including earnings results packs, shareholder registers, and analyst models.

You will be responsible for producing professional-quality investor relations deliverables that reflect the standards expected of experienced practitioners at publicly listed companies. Each assignment will be evaluated against a structured rubric focused on accuracy, strategic judgment, clarity, and quality of execution.

RequirementsWhat You'll Do
  • Draft quarterly earnings releases, prepared remarks, and Q&A briefings for results calls.
  • Develop guidance-setting recommendations and guidance revision scenarios, supported by appropriate analysis.
  • Create investor day and broader IR presentation materials, including:
    • Equity story and positioning decks
    • Investor presentations
    • AGM materials
    • Transaction and deal announcement packages
  • Analyze shareholder registers and ownership structures to understand the investor base.
  • Assess potential activist investor vulnerabilities and identify relevant areas of exposure.
  • Develop recommendations related to dividends, capital allocation, and shareholder returns.
  • Apply practical investor relations judgment to ensure deliverables are accurate, credible, and aligned with public-company expectations.
  • Work with mock financial and market materials to produce polished, decision-ready outputs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional experience in an in-house Investor Relations role at a publicly listed company.
  • Direct ownership or significant responsibility for a company's earnings cycle, including:
    • Earnings releases
    • Prepared remarks/scripts
    • Q&A preparation
    • Analyst engagement
  • Strong understanding of public-company communications, investor expectations, shareholder positioning, and capital markets.
  • Ability to interpret financial information and translate it into clear, compelling investor-facing communications.
  • Strong written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with financial and investor-related materials and produce high-quality deliverables.
Nice to Have
  • IRC certification or charter through NIRI.
  • Previous experience in sell-side equity research before transitioning into an in-house IR role.
  • Experience working at an investor relations or financial communications agency.
  • Experience supporting investor days, activist situations, capital allocation decisions, or major corporate transactions.
Assessment Process

Qualified candidates may complete practical exercises designed to assess real-world Investor Relations capabilities, including:

  • Preparing an earnings release and prepared remarks using a mock quarterly results pack.
  • Developing a guidance revision recommendation supported by relevant scenarios.
  • Conducting an activist vulnerability assessment based on a mock shareholder and ownership profile.
Important Role Distinction

This opportunity is specifically focused on public-company Investor Relations.

Professionals whose primary experience is in investor relations at private equity or venture capital funds, where the work primarily involves LP fundraising and investor communications, may not be a suitable match for this role.
