- NXP's IoT Segment Marketing team is seeking a curious, innovative, and customer-focused Technical Marketing Manager to help shape the future of the Hybrid Work segment. This early-career role offers the opportunity to learn how semiconductor hardware and software solutions enable productive, secure, and seamless work experiences across offices, homes, and shared workspaces. The successful candidate will work with experienced marketing, product, engineering, sales, and customer teams to turn market insights into practical actions.

The role will support customer-focused and data-driven marketing initiatives within the IoT segment while building foundational experience in semiconductor products, market analysis, go-to-market planning, and customer engagement.
Job Summary:
- Be part of the IoT Hybrid Work Segment team within the Secure Connected Edge Business Line, supporting growth for MPU, microcontroller, and connectivity products.
- Work closely with Product Management, System/Application Engineering, software R&D, sales, and experienced segment marketers to help bring differentiated solutions to market.
- Build an understanding of the Hybrid Work market, including collaboration devices, enterprise peripherals, meeting-room systems, docking and connectivity solutions, and emerging workplace technology trends.
- Support short- and long-term revenue forecasting, pipeline tracking, and business analysis under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist with go-to-market strategies for new and existing products through market research, competitive analysis, and TAM/SAM assessment.
- Contribute research and customer insights to Market Requirement Documents (MRDs) for new hardware and software solutions.
- Collaborate with IoT marketing managers, Product Management, systems/application engineering, regional sales, and FAE teams to gather and organize customer and market requirements.
- Support regional sales and FAE teams with customer design-in activities, technical and marketing collateral, solution value propositions, and follow-up actions.
- Help define reference-solution requirements and use cases for enablement platforms that support direct and distribution-channel activities.
- Research and engage with ecosystem partners whose technologies can help customers accelerate innovative Hybrid Work products.
- Create clear, high-quality documents, presentations, and training materials for internal teams, customers, and distribution partners, with coaching from senior team members.
Key Challenges:
- Work closely with NXP's MPU, MCU, Connected MCU, and connectivity product teams and IoT segment leads to translate technical information into useful sales and customer content.
- Help organize and deploy technical content for global sales, distribution partners, and end customers.
- Develop the ability to work at both the strategic level, by contributing ideas and market insights, and the tactical level, by measuring activities, preparing content, and helping solve customer problems.
Cross-Functional Aspects:
- Collaborate with NXP's MPU, MCU, Connected MCU, connectivity, product innovation, and software teams to support go-to-market strategies and partner relationships.
- Support IoT segment leads in deploying Hybrid Work strategy into key OEM and mass-market opportunities.
- Work with NXP sales and FAE teams to prepare for customer and distributor engagements and track follow-up actions.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing with a strong technical focus, or a related field required.
- Entry-level position intended for a recent college graduate; 0-2 years of relevant experience. Internships, co-op assignments, capstone projects, laboratory work, student organizations, or other hands-on technical and business experience are valued.
- Foundational understanding of microcontrollers, application processors, connectivity, embedded systems, or related electronic technologies; coursework or project experience is acceptable.
- Interest in Hybrid Work applications such as collaboration devices, audio/video systems, enterprise peripherals, meeting-room technology, smart-office solutions, or secure connectivity. Prior industry experience is not required.
- Ability to gather information and contribute to technical requirement documents, presentations, market analyses, and product-positioning materials with guidance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn basic market sizing, competitive analysis, forecasting, and go-to-market planning.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with regional sales, engineering, marketing, customers, and partners across cultures and time zones.
- Hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to manage assignments, meet deadlines, and follow issues through to resolution.
- Flexible, motivated, curious, and committed to continuous learning and the success of the broader NXP team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support regional NXP teams, meet customers and partners, and attend industry events or trade shows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in English and the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
