IT Operations Manager

The Digital Stronghold | Engineering | Remote

At The Digital Stronghold, our Engineering team powers the systems behind five beloved men's brands, from ecommerce storefronts to the tools our teams use every day. We're looking for a builder who wants to create the IT foundation that keeps our people equipped, secure, and moving fast.

Role Overview

As our IT Operations Manager, you'll build and lead centralized IT administration across our portfolio of five ecommerce brands, supporting corporate, remote, and retail teams. You'll own the systems, processes, and standards that shape every employee's experience with technology, from day-one onboarding through access management, hardware lifecycle, and vendor relationships. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who is highly organized, security-minded, and energized by bringing structure to a multi-brand environment.

You'll:
  • Establish and manage a centralized, secure IT administration function across five ecommerce brands, plus corporate, remote, and retail teams
  • Administer our core business applications, including Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Adobe Creative Cloud, Shopify Plus, NetSuite, Figma, and other SaaS platforms
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, SSO, MFA, and role-based access across business systems
  • Build standardized onboarding and offboarding processes covering account provisioning, access management, hardware assignment, and deactivation
  • Implement role- and department-based access aligned to each brand and employee function
  • Create and maintain a centralized inventory of hardware, software, SaaS, and licenses
  • Own hardware procurement, deployment, tracking, lifecycle, replacement, and recovery
  • Standardize IT processes, policies, documentation, and system administration across all brands
  • Support ecommerce and business teams with access to Shopify Plus, NetSuite, and third-party ecommerce platforms
  • Field IT support requests, troubleshoot access issues, and coordinate vendor escalations
  • Find and implement opportunities to automate provisioning, access management, and repetitive IT work
  • Uphold security standards, including MFA, access controls, least-privilege access, and periodic access reviews
  • Manage SaaS vendors, renewals, and licensing to control cost and ensure business continuity
  • Maintain centralized IT documentation, application ownership records, access matrices, and operating procedures
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in IT administration, systems administration, or IT operations
  • Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Adobe Creative Cloud, Shopify Plus, NetSuite, Figma, or comparable SaaS platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of SSO, MFA, and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Experience building and running onboarding/offboarding programs and hardware lifecycle management at scale
  • Vendor management experience, including SaaS licensing, renewals, and contract negotiation
  • A strong process orientation, with a track record of standardizing and documenting IT operations
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Bonus Points If You...
  • Have supported IT across multiple brands or business units
  • Have experience supporting both corporate/remote staff and retail environments
  • Have built automation for provisioning or access management workflows
Why You'll Love This Role
  • You'll build it. This is a chance to design centralized IT operations from the ground up and set the standard across five brands.
  • Your impact is everywhere. Every employee, at every brand, will feel the difference your systems and processes make.
  • Variety keeps it interesting. From ecommerce platforms to retail stores to creative teams, no two days look the same.
  • Room to innovate. You'll have the ownership to identify automation opportunities and bring smarter ways of working to life.
