About the role

We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team as the Items of Interest Lead at RAAF Base Amberley, supporting the Air Combat Electronic Attack Sustainment Program.
In this role, you will manage supply items with declining stock health to help protect operational capability, oversee ACEA logistics support, and coordinate complex tasks and resource priorities to support mission readiness. Join us in contributing to this critical program and supporting the Air Combat Electronic Attack Enterprise.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Items of Interest function within the Air Combat Electronic Attack Sustainment Program, which includes, but is not limited to:
  • Collecting and analysing data to create burndown charts that identify program risks.
  • Managing Items of Interest from a logistics perspective, with a focus on minimising impacts to operational capability.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across Enterprise to develop solutions that address challenges related to stock health.
  • Facilitating and participating in regular meetings to gather data and deliver updates.

Experience/Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with:
  • Proven experience in a complex, collaborative multi-organisational environment.
  • Ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organisation.
  • Background in technical or logistics fields.
  • Strong written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Relevant experience in the aviation or aerospace industry.
  • Prior experience with ADF Aviation in technical or logistics is highly desirable.

Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security requirements and must be willing to undergo the standard government vetting process, including a full life background check. BDA will sponsor and support the required clearance process.
