Qualifications
  • Education required : Diploma and above

  • candidates with Industrial Relations knowledge or experience will be added advantage. 

  • Sound knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.

  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

  • Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken) is required.

  • Ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary HRBP for designated business units, building strong relationships with managers and employees.

  • Lead and manage Industrial Relations (IR) matters including disciplinary cases, grievances, performance management, and investigations, ensuring fair and consistent practices.

  • Provide expert advice on employment laws, HR policies, and best practices to management and employees.

  • Support employee engagement initiatives and act as a mediator to resolve workplace conflicts.

  • Draft, review, and translate HR documentation (e.g., policies, contracts, notices) in both English and Japanese where required.

  • Partner with leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and talent management.

  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development) to deliver integrated HR solutions.

  • Monitor HR metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, company policies, and collective agreements.

  • 組織の有効性向上、人員計画、タレントマネジメント推進のために経営陣と連携する。 
  • タレントアクイジション、報酬・福利厚生、人材育成などのHR専門チーム(CoE)と協働し、統合的な人事ソリューションを提供する。 
  • HRメトリクスのモニタリング、レポート作成、分析を通じて意思決定を支援する。 
  • 労働法、社内規程、労使協定などの法令・規則の遵守を徹底する。
