KIS is looking for a talented Tech Lead Java to join a growing team working on a global project. This role offers the opportunity to lead a product with real impact across several countries, with new markets and exciting features constantly being rolled out. We're looking for someone with strong full-stack experience, leadership skills, and a sharp business sense to help us continue delivering value in a dynamic, high-visibility environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  •  Lead a team working on large and complex systems;
  • Communicate regularly with business stakeholders to understand and align with business goals;

  • Interface with complex enterprise environments to design integrations and solutions that meet business needs;

  • Actively contribute to the codebase and support less experienced developers;

  • Manage a development backlog of bug fixes and feature requests across active and upcoming markets;

  • Coordinate the rollout of new features and support global expansion efforts;

  • Occasionally travel to key markets to collaborate with in-field teams and support feature planning or deployments;

  • Ensure a high standard of communication in English, both written and verbal, with internal teams and external partners.



Requirements
  • Experience with leadership on IT projects
  • Solid knowledge of backend development with Java/Spring Boot;
  • Strong frontend experience with React or Angular;
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL);
  • Experience with mobile application projects is a plus;
  • Comfortable working across both new feature development and production support;
  • Excellent English skills for team communication and stakeholder engagement;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills;
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
  • Business-oriented mindset, with the ability to connect technical decisions to business value;
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (US, LATAM).
  • Live in Latin America region.​
