We're looking for a Jr. Marketing Generalist to join MeanPug and get their hands dirty across multiple areas of digital marketing. This isn't a role with a narrow lane. You'll contribute across departments including SEO, content, paid media, social, account strategy, and creative, working alongside specialists in each area and learning how a full-service agency actually operates.

You'll bring curiosity and a willingness to jump in wherever you're needed, and over time it will become clear where your strengths and interests are deepest. We're invested in that process and will help you grow into it.

What you'll do
  • Support account strategists with project coordination, client prep, and internal task management across active client accounts
  • Assist the SEO team with research, content briefs, on-page updates, and reporting support
  • Help the content team with writing, editing, and content production tasks across blog posts, web copy, and social captions
  • Support the paid media team with campaign QA, reporting data pulls, and basic optimization tasks
  • Assist with social media scheduling, community management, and content calendar maintenance
  • Pitch in on creative and production tasks as needed, including light asset resizing and file organization
  • Learn how each department operates and contribute meaningfully to day-to-day work across the agency
  • Surface observations, questions, and ideas as you move across departments, your outside perspective has value

Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of experience across one or more digital marketing functions including SEO, content, paid media, social, or account management
  • Genuine curiosity about digital marketing and how different channels work together to drive results for clients
  • Strong written communication skills, you can write clearly and adapt your tone to different contexts
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, you stay on top of multiple tasks without things slipping
  • Comfortable asking questions, taking direction, and working within defined processes while also flagging when something seems off
Bonus skills (nice to have)
  • Exposure to SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console
  • Familiarity with paid media platforms such as Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Monday, or Notion
  • Any background in the legal industry or professional services
  • Basic familiarity with WordPress or web content management
  • Experience with Canva or basic design tools for light asset work
