About the role

We’re looking for a smart, curious researcher to help us find exceptional people.

Recruiting here is analytical and hands-on. You’ll map talent pools, identify hard-to-find profiles, and engage candidates who are not actively on the market. The work is analytical, detail-driven, and closer to executive search than traditional recruiting.

You’ll work closely with senior recruiters and gain exposure to hiring across quantitative finance and technology. An interest in how markets, data, and people connect is helpful, but intellectual curiosity and strong judgment matter most.

If you enjoy structured research, pattern recognition, and finding people others overlook, this role will suit you well.

Job Description
Key responsibilities/Day-to-day:

  • Research and identify high-quality candidates across professional networks and niche platforms

  • Build market intelligence: map talent pools, track profiles, and maintain long-term candidate relationships

  • Use structured sourcing techniques (including Boolean search) to identify hard-to-find profiles

  • Thoughtfully engage candidates and maintain ongoing, professional communication

  • Write tailored outreach that reflects each candidate’s background and motivations

  • Track sourcing outcomes and pipeline quality (responses, conversions, engagement)

  • Keep candidate records accurate and up to date in our ATS

Basic Requirements:

  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, evolving environment

  • Curiosity and openness to learning new sourcing approaches and markets

Nice to have Requirements:

  • Background in STEM or a strong interest in technical roles

  • Experience sourcing via platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Google, or similar

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems

  • Exposure to niche or highly specialized talent markets

Why you will love it here:

  • Develop deep sourcing and research skills with real ownership and feedback
Collaborate closely with a recruiting team in the same office, day to day

  • Gain direct exposure to a highly specialized, data-driven industry that few recruiters see early in their careers
