About the role

We are looking for a Junior Technical Project Manager to join our Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will partner with our Engineering Manager to lead the execution of complex software engineering and enterprise technology projects. You will be the glue that holds our cross-functional teams together, ensuring that technical requirements are clear, dependencies are managed, and delivery remains on track. The ideal candidate has a background in engineering, software development, or IT projects, and has a passion for process optimization and team velocity.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of software projects, from initial scoping and technical requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch evaluation.
  • Manage the project lifecycle using Agile methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and blockers, working closely with engineers to find creative solutions to architectural or resource constraints.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Facilitating project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in technical project management, or a similar role within a software engineering / IT environment.
  • Expertise in Agile tools such as Jira, Linear, or Asana.
