Coperniq is building the operating system for contractors.

Our goal is simple: give contractors one system—and a team of AI agents—to run their entire business. It is a huge, underserved market, and we intend to build the company that defines it.

We’re backed by Y Combinator and Initialized Capital. We’re now looking for a strong full-stack engineer to join our small team.

You’ll work across the product, own projects end to end, and build software for complex contractor operations.

Our Stack

Backend: Node.js, NestJS, MikroORM, PostgreSQL, TypeScript
Frontend: React, TypeScript, GraphQL

Who We’re Looking For
  • Startup or founding-engineer experience

  • High energy and a strong bias toward shipping

  • Autonomous and proactive—you can own a project without constant follow-up

  • Experience building complex products across multiple domains

  • Strong judgment and the ability to work through ambiguity

  • 5+ years experience

Nice to Have
  • Experience building voice AI agents

  • Experience building AI-powered document or image editing and annotation
