Summary of Role:

The Lead, Commercial Transformation, role is an important contributor to GlobalFoundries' commercial transformation agenda, supporting the design, implementation, and adoption of improved commercial processes, systems, and operating models. You will focus on executing defined initiatives with growing independence, building functional expertise across commercial processes, CRM systems, and transformation delivery.

You will work closely with senior team members and cross-functional teams to support high-priority transformation programs, contributing structured analysis, process documentation, system testing, change enablement activities, and project coordination. Over time, you will expand your scope to own discrete process areas and lead smaller sub-workstreams with increasing autonomy.

This role is ideal for a high-potential professional with a strong foundation in sales operations or business process improvement who is ready to grow into a transformation leadership role within a complex, global company.

Essential Responsibilities:

Support and execute commercial transformation initiatives across GF's commercial ecosystem, contributing to measurable improvements in process, systems, and adoption. Key areas of focus include:

  • Commercial Process Support & Documentation: Support the design, documentation, and standardization of commercial processes across the Market-to-Contract lifecycle. Develop process maps, SOPs, and governance documentation that enable consistent execution across Sales, Commercial Operations, Finance, Pricing, and Supply Chain.
  • Commercial Systems Execution: Support enhancements, testing, and adoption of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) and related commercial platforms. Assist in gathering business requirements, writing user stories, executing test cases, and coordinating UAT activities. Identify usability issues and escalate improvement opportunities.
  • AI & Automation Contribution: Assist in identifying and documenting AI and automation use cases that improve seller productivity, pipeline quality, or operational efficiency. Support the evaluation and piloting of new tools, contributing to business case development and implementation coordination.
  • M&A Commercial Integration Support: Assist in the integration of commercial processes, data, and systems for acquired businesses. Execute integration tasks across process mapping, data validation, system configuration testing, and stakeholder communication under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Customer Journey Contribution: Support cross-functional efforts to improve GF's customer experience from prospect to production order. Contribute analysis, research, and documentation to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
  • Project Coordination & Governance Support: Coordinate project activities, track milestones, manage action item logs, and support the preparation of status updates and governance reporting. Assist senior team members in managing dependencies and risks across active workstreams.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5–8 years of experience in Business Transformation, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, or a related field, preferably within semiconductor or high-tech industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute cross-functional project activities with growing independence, including process documentation, requirements gathering, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills—able to produce clear documentation, presentations, and status updates for cross-functional audiences.
  • Working knowledge of end-to-end commercial processes (Market-to-Contract, Lead-to-Cash), including basic process design and workflow mapping.
  • Hands-on experience supporting enterprise system implementations or enhancements, ideally including Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience supporting change management and adoption activities such as training coordination, communications support, and readiness tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Experience in these areas is a plus, though not required:

  • Prior experience in a Business Process or Product Owner support role, assisting in requirements management and solution validation.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation concepts in commercial or operational environments; curiosity and willingness to learn emerging tools.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies, including participation in sprint ceremonies, user story writing, backlog grooming, and UAT execution.
  • Experience contributing to M&A integration activities for commercial processes, systems, or data.
  • Certifications such as PMP (or equivalent), Agile/Scrum Fundamentals, Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt, or Prosci/ADKAR.
  • Experience working within the global semiconductor industry.
