As a Lead Generation Representative (Lead Gen Rep) supporting Middle Market Sales within Optum Financial's Employer business, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding strategic client relationships. In this dynamic role, you will identify, prospect, and qualify high-potential business opportunities across middle-market employer prospects. - Build and maintain a solid sales pipeline aligned with segment growth strategies and revenue goals
- Log and manage prospect interactions, outreach metrics, and opportunity stages within Salesforce/CRM
- Conduct market research to understand prospect needs, pain points, and industry trends to tailor value propositions
- Meet or exceed target metrics for outbound contacts, qualified prospect meetings, and pipeline contribution
- Collaborate with Sales Ops, Marketing, Product, and Business Development teams to support lead generation initiatives and strategic growth efforts

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of business-to-business (B2B) sales, business development, or account management experience
- 2+ years of experience utilizing enterprise CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to manage prospecting and pipeline activities
- 2+ years of experience conducting outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and lead qualification with corporate decision-makers
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding performance quotas and lead qualification metrics
- Proven solid prospecting and relationship-building skills
- Proven excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes through collaboration and relationship management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare, employee benefits, financial services, or financial technology (FinTech) industry
- Knowledge of employer health savings and spending accounts (HSA, FSA, HRA) and payment solutions
