Join SeeChange
SeeChange isn’t your typical "let’s see if this works" startup. We have developed proven applications that help grocery retailers reduce their “shrink” (loss) by 50 percent. Product-market fit is proven by deployments in leading retailers and global partnerships with Tier 1 checkout providers. We have world-class AI engineering, an established GTM and big ambitions. Based in the UK, our US growth is moving fast. Join us to capitalize on the momentum and drive it forward.
About the role
We are looking for a senior, hands‑on Pre‑Sales Leader to lead and scale our technical sales motion across the region. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑moving environments - has supported complex sales cycles, demonstrated the value of computer vision to major enterprises and/or delivered complex projects in the retail domain, and who operates confidently and autonomously within an evolving go‑to‑market landscape.
In this role, you’ll be the solution domain expert behind our most strategic deals—shaping solution direction from first discovery call through pilot execution and full enterprise rollout.
You’ll be the expert retailers’ trust: the person who can break down the ‘how,’ make the ‘why’ undeniable, and remove every barrier to scale. If you’re energised by supporting deal closure, guiding high‑stakes pilots, and building repeatable technical playbooks that accelerate adoption, you’ll thrive in this role.
What you’ll do
Drive solution strategy to win enterprise deals
- Lead the solution and technical pre-sales motion for strategic accounts, setting architectural direction and shaping win themes that differentiate SeeChange
- Craft compelling technical value stories anchored in ROI, operational efficiency, and measurable shrink reduction
- Engage senior stakeholders, operations, IT, Loss Prevention and Innovation teams with confidence, clarity, and commercial edge
Own pilot success and conversion
- Define pilot scope, success criteria, KPIs and executive level outcomes that tie directly to commercial next steps
- Lead the end-to-end pilot process: from site readiness to production rollout
Influence and accelerate deal cycles
- Anticipate risks, competitor claims, technical objections, and internal barriers and neutralize them early
- Build solution architectures that are feasible today and scalable tomorrow, aligning edge compute, networking, integrations, and retailer constraints
- Shape RFP responses and executive proposals with crisp technical storytelling and a commercial focus
Lead high-impact customer engagements
- Deliver tailored, high impact demonstrations that show our platform’s real-world value across loss prevention, hazard detection, operational insights, building to a Connected Store vision
- Run senior level workshops that simplify complex AI concepts and increase executive confidence. Create technical materials—diagrams, migration paths, integration models—that accelerate buying decisions
Enable scale and internal excellence
- Be a core part of the team developing repeatable pilot frameworks, rollout readiness templates, and technical sales assets used across the GTM team
- Mentor junior presales engineers and help shape a consistent “SeeChange way” of winning deals
- Feed field insights into Product Management to strengthen competitive advantage and roadmap alignment
What you bring
Commercial fluency, experience of enterprise deployments and a passion for retail:
- Proven track record of influencing and winning enterprise level deals.
- Ability to translate complex technical topics for audiences of all levels and technical knowledge (from C-level to store attendant) that demonstrates commercial advantages that unlock revenue or reduce loss.
- Confident facilitating executive conversations, steering multistakeholder groups, and driving urgency in the sales cycle.
- Experience navigating complex organisations to unblock technical challenges that can slow or stop deal cycles.
- You balance technical depth with commercial pragmatism and are equally comfortable on a store floor, in a technical whiteboarding session, or in an executive boardroom.
- Experience running high stakes pilots in complex, multisite enterprise environments
Technical Expertise
- Knowledge of networking, network security and cyber-security solutions and challenges in enterprise IT environments.
- Strong grounding in AI/ML driven platforms, video ingestion, computer vision, or real-time event detection systems a strong advantage.
- Nice to have: hands‑on experience with Linux, APIs, system integration, networking, cloud environments, and containerisation (e.g. Docker).
Personal Attributes and Experience
- You bring 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales engineering, pre-sales, consulting or solution architecture
- Experience operating in high-growth or scale-up software environments, where autonomy and commercial ownership are expected, is strongly preferred
- Ability to work with a high level of independence as well as provide leadership to future pre-sales hires
- Domain knowledge of store operations, shrink and loss prevention, store systems, and enterprise IT/network infrastructures is an advantage in this role
Why this role matters
Pre-sales win trust. Trust wins deals. Deals unlock scale.
Your ability to lead pilots and convert them into long term, multimarket deployments will directly determine revenue growth, retailer adoption, and market leadership. This is a role where your work becomes the signature difference between “curiosity” and “commitment”.
