- Lead complex technology initiatives, influencing the design and development of innovative, high-quality, and resilient application and database solutions to address sophisticated business and technical requirements across multiple teams.
- Drive the delivery and resolution of complex technical challenges by performing in-depth analysis across systems and domains, implementing scalable and sustainable solutions aligned with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
- Apply and promote industry best practices and emerging technologies, contributing to the evolution of engineering standards and recommending enhancements that improve platform capabilities, efficiency, and reliability.

- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of experience with distributed streaming and event-driven architectures, utilizing technologies such as Kafka.
- 2+ years of experience in database design and data architecture, including relational and/or NoSQL systems, data modeling, and high-throughput data access patterns.
- 5+ years of programming experience in Python, Java, and/or C#, developing scalable, production-grade backend systems and APIs.
- Demonstrated expertise in AIOps and Events Management, including alert ingestion, correlation, enrichment, and AI-driven incident analysis within large-scale enterprise observability platforms.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, model integration, and the application of machine learning in production environments.
- Proven ability to design and integrate APIs and microservices, including REST and gRPC services, as well as service orchestration patterns.
- Strong understanding of API security, including OAuth, authentication and authorization frameworks, and reverse proxy or API gateway architectures.
- Experience working with cloud-native platforms such as OpenShift (OCP), including containerization, distributed systems, and scalable deployment models.
- Experience in incident and problem management, technology change management, and performance testing and tuning.
- Strong background in system design and architecture for high-scale applications, including performance optimization, fault tolerance, and resiliency.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and build effective relationships with line-of-business stakeholders, technology leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams.
- Experience with modern software development practices, including TDD, CI/CD, pair programming, build automation, automated testing, Agile practices, and chaos engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and product operating models.
- Knowledge of application and software security practices, including web application penetration testing, secure code review, and static code analysis.
- Solid understanding of technology architecture and solution design principles.
- Broad knowledge of complex enterprise systems and multi-tier architectures, including front-end, middleware, services layers, databases, back-end systems, and downstream integrations.
