Responsibilities

  •  Conduct research by leveraging internal, Smith tools and available information as well as leveraging approved, external sources to develop a comprehensive understanding of agile project management, Jira and Confluence software
  • Collaborate with subteam leads to gain a thorough understanding of L&D department approach to projects, execution, process improvement, and culture
  • Leverage thorough research to evaluate the L&D project management strategy to describe existing approach across each subteam: analytics, instructional design, software engineering
  • Leverage knowledge gained of agile project management, current Smith L&D project management strategy, and Jira and Confluence software to propose new strategies for improved project management, department knowledge management, and Jira board construction

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
  • With 3-5 years of related experience preferably with knowledge and/or project management models in design contexts
  • Experience in developing, piloting, and revising knowledge and project management processes
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (confluence, Jira, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented, excellent communication and organization skills
  • Language proficiency in English  and any other languages preferred
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications

Dates: Monday, June 1st to Friday, August 7th (10 weeks)

Location: Fully in Office at 5306 Hollister Street, Houston TX 77040
