About the role

We are looking to add a Logistics Coordinator to our growing Inventory Department. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving schedule, coordinating the logistics of the shipments and deliveries of materials to and between RIOT campuses and to outside sources. They will also update and maintain the inventory records management regarding all shipments and deliveries, along with facilitates communication within the team regarding shipments and deliveries. This on-site position will directly support our inventory operations at our Corsicana, TX facility. 


What you'll do

  • Oversee the receiving of all incoming deliveries and packages and track delivery to departments.
  • Oversee the shipment of all materials between RIOT sites.
  • Keep strict batch records and received shipment records.
  • Update inventory and purchase order software as required.
  • Monitor open orders report and effectively communicate information with team.
  • Assist with report generation as assigned.
  • Use RF unit to scan incoming shipments as needed.
  • Rotate stock and track as needed.
  • Facilitate communication among departments.
  • Work with vendors as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Supervisory duties as assigned.


What you'll bring

  • Previous experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, or in a similar role.
  • Experience in inventory management, logistics, and shipping/receiving operations.
  • Proficient in inventory/logistics related software.
  • Extensive knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and other computer applications.
  • Experience with productivity and communication tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of scheduling and use of scheduling tools or software.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Leadership abilities with excellent problem-solving and independent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.


Physical requirements and work environment 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods 
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (50 pounds) 
  • Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat, noise, etc.) 
  • Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures

  • PPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots). 
  • Hazard Awareness: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions. 
  • Standards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training. 
  • Organization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.
