Machine Operators - All Shifts

Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for Machine Operators on all shifts, located in Austin, Texas.  Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances.

Ichor Production Team Shift Schedules

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 600am-230pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 230pm-1030pm
• Upcoming Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday 600am-630pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Perform basic set-ups and operate machines in more than one assigned area
• Operate complex equipment and machines in a safe manner
• Fit, align and adjust machines or assemblies to meet tolerances and product operating requirements
• Work from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specifications
• Identify deviations that can potentially interrupt productivity
• Maintain logs and other necessary documents
• Work with direct supervision
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

 Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practices
• Ability to operate a variety of machines
• Basic understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity   
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Desired Education, Certifications and Experience

• 1-2+ years manufacturing or related work experience 
• High School diploma or equivalent

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
