SPS PoolCare is seeking a Manager of Business Intelligence in Austin, TX. This is an onsite position 4 days of the week (choice of remote day).  

We are looking for a Manager of Business Intelligence who will build and maintain MS Power BI reports and dashboards.  The ideal candidate will possess business analysis skills and business acumen to gather and define requirements and execute those requirements.  This role requires great communication and presentation skills as well as technical skills to build complex reports and dashboards from our MS Fabric data lake.  

Responsibilities:

  • Create and publish dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Microsoft Power BI and other tools. 
  • Knowledge of MS Fabric and SQL
  • Build and maintain data models and datasets that support data analysis and reporting. 
  • Work with business users and stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements. 
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all data sources and reports. 
  • Commit to learning the various business systems, applications, and processes to generate meaningful reports and dashboards that align with business strategy. 
  • Optimize and troubleshoot data and performance issues. 
  • Provide training and support to end users on how to use and interpret data visualizations. 
  • Highlight significant events, anomalies, and improvements in regular newsletters to the organization based on the reports and KPIs. 
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. 
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in data analysis and visualization using Power BI or similar tools. 
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data manipulation languages. 
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets from multiple sources. 
  • Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills. 
  • Business acumen and ability to anticipate and deliver on stakeholder needs and expectations. 
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
