Role and Responsibilities​ 

  • Manage daily and ongoing compliance activities for NERC registered projects. 
  • Track and complete regulatory filings for NERC registered projects. 
  • Work with NERC Implementation team during construction phase of projects to complete project registration with applicable entities. 
  • Lead meetings with various stakeholders, including clients, EPC contractors, engineering teams, and more. 
  • Manage workflow for Compliance Associate(s). 

Required Qualification & Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. 
  • Minimum 4 years renewable energy industry experience in asset management, business management, contract management, compliance, or operations roles.  

Experience Required:  

  • 3+ years’ work experience in NERC Compliance  

Experience Preferred 

  • 4+ years actively managing/supporting a Generator Owner and/or Generator Operator compliance program  

Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications Preferred 

  • Technical knowledge of power systems operations and NERC Reliability Standards  
  • NERC Operator Certification strongly preferred  

Company/Industry Related Knowledge 

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills  
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills  
  • Strong interpersonal skills  
  • Additional knowledge of ERCOT, CAISO, and other ISO/RTO markets, State Public Utilities Commissions, and IA/PAA operational requirements desirable 


The current salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and other relevant factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. This range is offered for informational purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee of any specific salary.
