CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Manager of IT Business Analysts to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

This role manages the team of IT business analysts that serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and implementation teams. Ensures the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the business stakeholders. Coordinates with other managers and leaders within IT and the firm to align the priorities and strategies of the technical projects. Mentors and develops the skills and competencies of the technical business analysts and fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Manager of IT Business Analysts role:

  • Manages a team responsible for converting business requirements into unique design elements and configurations for the product, offering comprehensive specifications and usage scenarios.
  • Oversees the delivery of high-quality functional specifications, designs, mock-ups, wireframes, business process maps, and accompanying documentation promptly for new development projects or amendments to existing software engineer tasks.
  • Documents current business processes (As-Is) and envisages future states (To-Be), along with associated systems and applications.
  • Partner with stakeholders about their plans to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Reviews suggests of system and process improvements to enhance key user efficiency, customer service quality, data accuracy, and comprehensiveness.
  • Leads sessions for eliciting requirements involving both business and IT staff, merging various technological disciplines to address a particular issue.
  • Ensures all processes and documentation conform to industry standards and typical software development life cycles.
  • Collaborates efficiently with external vendors to define objectives precisely and ensures projects adhere to budgetary, scope and time constraints.
  • Comprehends fundamental systems, applications, and technical frameworks thoroughly. Performs thorough data analyses to detect data quality discrepancies. Logs such issues alongside resolutions and shares them with team members to enhance team efficiency.
  • Facilitates collaboration of team with technical personnel throughout the design, coding, testing, and implementation phases to guarantee clarity of requirements and remedy any problems.
  • Partners with Quality Assurance Analysts to outline and carry out testing strategies for functional, integration, and regression tests concerning new application features, product releases, upgrades, and regulatory adjustments using practical business scenarios and use cases.

What you will need:

  • 8 years relevant experience required; Planning, facilitating, documenting, and managing business, functional and technical requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Technical Competencies:

  • Proficient in eliciting business requirements, modeling/mapping as-is and to-be business processes (BPMN), test planning, test case development and execution
  • Proficiency with Agile/Lean methodologies, Microsoft Project, Office, Azure DevOps (or similar tool) and process mapping applications (Camuda or Lucid charts)
