Role

We are looking for a Manager, Learning Management Systems to join our IT/Business Applications department. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Applications, this role offers the flexibility to work remotely within the United States, with a preference for candidates based near our San Jose, CA office who can participate in a hybrid schedule (three days per week onsite).

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and hands-on individual to own and manage the business applications related to our external and internal Learning Management Systems. Your primary focus will be on end-to-end business processes, systems architecture, and LMS integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity with the rest of the IT Business Applications landscape. You will work closely with cross-functional business and IT teams to understand business processes, define strategies, gather requirements, and design solutions that align with our business objectives.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

  • Take ownership of our current internal and external LMS platforms, CMS platform, Certification platform, Badging platform, and future solutions, ensuring their effective functioning and optimal utilization
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to define the business process and technology platforms strategy and roadmap
  • Design and maintain the architecture of the LMS and ensure smooth integrations with other business applications in our technology ecosystem
  • Manage relationships with LMS, CMS, and Certification platform vendors and other relevant technology providers while evaluating new and existing vendors to maintain healthy partnerships
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business needs into comprehensive, scalable, and user-centric solution designs

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 10+ years of experience managing enterprise business applications, with 5 or more years managing Learning Management Systems and related technologies
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes for enablement, learning management, and certification management alongside best practices
  • Expertise in systems architecture, integration, solution design, and SSO authentication for LMS platforms
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms (Cornerstone, Litmos, Skilljar), CMS platforms (Mediafly), Certification platforms (Pearson Vue), Gamification systems (Credly), and data platforms (Snowflake, Tableau)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business stakeholders and technology teams

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Exceptional hands-on ability and willingness to administer the LMS platforms as an individual contributor
  • Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiations
  • Experience delivering AI-enabled workflows using native Learning Management System capabilities or other advanced AI tools to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$122,500$175,000 USD
