THE ROLE

Our Solution Engineering organization is seeking a Manager, Partner Solution Engineering - SI Partners to lead our successful and growing team in North America. In this role, you will lead a team of deeply technical Partner Solution Engineers (PSEs) who work directly with our strategic System Integrator (SI) Partners.

The nature of this work requires a deep understanding of the business goals of our SI partners and their technical service offerings to ensure they implement Snowflake effectively for our mutual customers. You will lead your team in driving complex use cases toward technical wins and successful implementations. Beyond technical validation, you will guide your team in addressing architecture gaps and ensuring that partner-led solutions meet critical non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving both TACV (Total Annual Contract Value) and Consumption by ensuring partners are equipped to deliver high-value, scalable solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage a high-performing, diverse team of Partner Solution Engineers, supporting employee development and performance.

  • Groom and mentor Partner Solution Engineers to help SIs build robust Snowflake practices, specifically focusing on the establishment and maturity of Snowflake Centers of Excellence (CoE).

  • Drive technical wins by partnering with SIs to move complex use cases from initial concept to successful, high-consumption implementations.

  • Enable the CoEs to become the center of driving use cases, building joint offerings, and executing GTM motions that generate revenue for both the Partner and Snowflake.

  • Directly influence TACV and Consumption growth by ensuring partner-led architectures are optimized for long-term scale and business value.

  • Partner with Alliances and Sales Leadership to align technical resources with regional revenue targets and strategic account planning.

  • Provide guidance to revenue leaders on sales strategy, product obstacles/gaps, and represent the team’s needs to executive staff.

  • Innovate and implement strategies that will uplevel your team's skills in navigating complex partner ecosystems.

  • Serve as a player/coach, delivering compelling presentations and architectural discussions at Snowflake events, executive roundtables, and community sessions.

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
  • 15+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting capacity, with 4+ years of people management experience (hiring, training, and retaining top diverse talent).

  • Proven track record of driving TACV and Consumption targets within a partner-led or "sell-with" sales ecosystem.

  • Strategic experience building Partner Practices, including the creation or optimization of Centers of Excellence (CoE) and joint GTM offerings.

  • Expertise in "Practice Grooming," with the ability to coach PSEs on how to influence SI leadership to invest in Snowflake-specific technical resources.

  • Technical expertise in Data Warehousing, GenAI/Machine learning, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, and/or SaaS Solutions.

  • Knowledge of and experience with the technical aspects of SQL-based database ecosystems.

  • Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using formal presentations and demos.

  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields (or equivalent experience).

  • Willingness to travel within North America to meet with partners or for internal leadership meetings.
