What We Need:

Synapse Health is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manager, Supplier Data Management to lead our patient, order, and document loading function, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of data across our active supplier and data-transition workstreams. Reporting to the Director, Data Operations, this role owns day-to-day execution, SOPs, and quality standards for the loading function — work that today is absorbed informally at the Director level alongside broader DataOps responsibilities.

Loading volume has grown steadily and outpaced current team capacity, creating backlog and data-quality risk at the point of load. This role adds dedicated people leadership to keep pace with volume growth without compromising load accuracy or driving downstream rework, while freeing Director-level bandwidth for cross-functional and strategic priorities.

This role is ideal for a hands-on people leader with strong healthcare data experience, a bias toward process discipline, and a track record of scaling data operations under growing volume.

What You Will Do:

Loading Operations & Data Integrity

  • Own day-to-day execution of patient demographic, order, and document loading across all active supplier and data-transition workstreams.
  • Establish and enforce SOPs and quality standards at the point of load to reduce errors and downstream rework.
  • Monitor and manage loading backlog, prioritizing volume across suppliers to meet SLAs and transition timelines.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex loading discrepancies, exceptions, and data-quality issues.
  • Partner with Operations, Account Management, RCM, and Technology teams to identify root causes of load errors and drive corrective action.

Supplier & Transition Support

  • Support onboarding and data transitions for new and existing suppliers, ensuring load readiness and data accuracy ahead of go-live.
  • Oversee quality assurance and standardization of supplier data prior to EMR and downstream system loading.
  • Manage prioritization of loading support tickets across concurrent supplier workstreams.

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Build and maintain reporting/dashboards tracking loading volume, backlog, throughput, and accuracy by supplier and workstream.
  • Analyze trends and recurring load errors to identify root causes and drive process or system improvements.
  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to support automation that reduces manual load touchpoints and improves scalability.
  • Strengthen documentation and validation standards to support audit readiness as volume scales.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of data specialists/loaders, setting clear productivity and quality expectations.
  • Build capacity planning and staffing recommendations as loading volume continues to grow.
  • Oversee workflows across UAT and Production environments, ensuring controlled, accurate data changes.

Note: These responsibilities reflect the general nature and scope of the role but are not exhaustive. Responsibilities may evolve to meet changing business needs.

What You Have:

At Synapse Health, we’ve intentionally built a culture rooted in kindness, collaboration, and creativity, qualities we consider essential for every team member. Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in data operations, data loading, or healthcare data environments.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing people and/or complex, high-volume operational workflows.
  • Strong understanding of data validation, quality assurance, and throughput management in regulated environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn department-specific systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess trends and drive improvements.
  • Familiarity with DME/DMEPOS workflows and supplier data systems (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative working style.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Experience managing high-volume data loading or migration functions in a healthcare setting.
  • Track record of building SOPs and quality standards from scratch for a growing operational function.
  • Experience scaling a team's capacity to keep pace with volume growth.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $110,400 $138,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions. Compensation discussions are encouraged throughout the hiring process.
