As a Manager leading the Small and Medium Business team within the Midmarket organization, your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage a team of junior sales representatives to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, coaching, and mentoring the sales representatives, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. You will work closely with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to align sales objectives with overall business goals.  

  

Qualifications and Skills:  

  • 8+ years of proven success selling to meet or exceed sales targets, sales in software, SaaS, CCaaS, a plus 

  • 1-3 years of experience leading and managing direct or indirect teams.  Formal management experience a plus, but not required. 

  • Experience working with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodology a plus 

  • Experience mentoring, developing and coaching others leading to growth and development 

  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to use sales data to drive decision-making using multiple relevant data sources  

  • Experience leading initiatives to support driving sales growth and deal wins including new logos  

  • Experience addressing conflicts and working cross-functionally in partnership with SDRs, CSMs, and other key stakeholders 

  • Results-oriented and target-driven mindset.  

  • Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations 

  • Develop and implement sales training and coaching on a monthly and quarterly basis. 

  • Driving adoption of key sales initiatives and company priorities across team 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.  MBA, a plus  

  • 30-40% travel required  

  

Sales Operations and Sales Performance:  

  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.  

  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and sales results.  

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive informed decision-making.  

  • Utilize sales processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.  

  • Ensure accurate and timely sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.  

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities and potential risks.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives and product development plans.  

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective measures to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.  

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.  

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.  

Leadership Experience:  

  • Lead and motivate teams providing guidance, support, and mentorship.  

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging teamwork and a customer-centric mindset.  

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive informed decision-making.  

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$111,700.00 - $196,300.00
