    • Troubleshoot complex application, deployment, data, tracking, and integration issues.

    • Evaluate new platforms and AI-enabled technologies for scalability, security, maintainability, and business value.

    • Manage technical vendors and external development partners while reducing unnecessary dependency on outside resources.

    • Familiarity or willingness to work with AI coding tools like Claude Code and Copilot.

    • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4, Google Consent Mode, and digital analytics implementation.

    • Familiarity with cookie consent / CMP platforms such as Securiti, OneTrust, or similar technologies.

    • Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms into modern web applications.

    • Familiarity with search platforms such as Algolia or comparable search/indexing technologies.

    • Working knowledge of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, website performance, and web security best practices.

    • Experience troubleshooting production applications, integrations, deployments, tracking implementations, and data flows.

    • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, databases, automation platforms, and data pipelines is a plus.

    • Experience providing technical direction to developers, contractors, agencies, or vendors preferred.

Leadership & Business Skills

Strong candidates should also be able to translate business and marketing needs into technical requirements, communicate technical tradeoffs to nontechnical stakeholders, prioritize competing initiatives, and balance new development against reliability, security, technical debt, and long-term maintainability.
