About Us

We’re building a premium Delta-9 THC brand with a compliance-first, education-driven approach. Our line of fast-acting shots, edibles, and tinctures is designed for real outcomes and consistent quality. The next step is multi-state growth—and we’re looking for someone to help us win new markets, build distributor relationships, and drive retail adoption.

The Role

As Market Development Manager, you’ll be on the front lines of our expansion—opening new states, securing distribution, and building strong retail partnerships. You’ll collaborate with leadership to execute go-to-market strategies and ensure we scale with discipline, compliance, and velocity.

This role is perfect for a closer who thrives in new territory, understands the distribution cycle, and has experience selling Delta-9 or regulated THC products.

What You’ll Do
  • Launch states: Execute entry plans for priority markets—mapping opportunities, securing distributors, and opening first anchor accounts.
  • Distributor partnerships: Identify, pitch, and onboard the right partners; manage day-to-day relationships and support joint business plans.
  • Retail sell-in: Win doors across convenience, smoke/vape, wellness, and dispensary channels (where compliant). Own pipeline, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Sell-through support: Work with brand and ambassador teams on training, vendor days, and POS materials that drive repeat velocity.
  • Key account growth: Target and expand high-value chains and independents; support programs that secure reorders and placement.
  • Forecasting & reporting: Track pipeline progress, doors opened, velocity, and reorder cadence. Keep leadership updated with accurate forecasts.
  • Compliance-minded: Ensure all launches align with state-by-state rules for labeling, claims, testing, and pricing.
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
  • Launch 3–5 states with active distributor partnerships and retail activations.
  • Open 300+ new doors (mix of chains and independents).
  • Hit velocity/reorder benchmarks within 90 days of launch in each new state.
  • Establish a repeatable playbook for market entry and distributor onboarding.
Why Join Us

This is an opportunity to shape how a premium Delta-9 brand expands into new states, by leveraging a well known THC Cannabis Brand MSO. You’ll be backed by a product line that wins on consistency, taste, and effects—and by a leadership team that moves fast, stays compliant, and builds long-term retail relationships the right way.

RequirementsWhat You Bring
  • 3–7 years in CPG and/or cannabis sales; 2+ years selling Delta-9 or regulated THC products.
  • Proven track record opening new states/territories and scaling distribution + retail doors.
  • Strong grasp of the distribution cycle: product registration, compliance, pricing tiers, logistics, and retail onboarding.
  • Channel experience in convenience, smoke/vape, wellness (dispensary experience is a plus).
  • Closer’s mentality with a clean, accurate pipeline and a knack for building lasting retail relationships.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, compliance-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel 40–60% for state launches, distributor meetings, and retail activations.
  • Must be 21+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
