About Runwise

We’re seeking a Marketing Events Coordinator to help turn day-to-day marketing and field events and operations into qualified meetings, pipeline, and ARR.

Runwise is the leading smart operating system for buildings. We control and optimize every system—including heating, cooling, electric, gas, and water—across 10,000+ buildings throughout the United States.

The impact is substantial: Runwise lowers energy costs and reduces fossil fuel usage by ~23% in every building we serve, while making these spaces more comfortable, safe, and affordable. This translates to removing the equivalent of 100,000 cars worth of carbon emissions annually and more than $100M in energy savings.

As a well-funded startup backed by leading investors, Runwise is headquartered in New York City with thriving operations in Chicago, Boston, and Washington D.C. We’re building the future of sustainable building operations at scale.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to identify key events and develop event objectives, operations, and timelines aligned with business goals.
  • Plan, execute, and own the results of field marketing events (prospect lunches/dinners, sponsored conferences, expos, executive speaking engagements, webinars, local market events): venues, materials management, budget tracking, AV, swag, setup, breakdown, run-of-show, pre- and post-event sales enablement.
  • Research and source vendors, venues, rentals, catering, and gifting options; request quotes, compare options, and confirm bookings
  • Maintain an organized vendor database with updated contacts, pricing, and notes
  • Work closely with the creative team to develop event collateral, promotional materials, signage, presentations, and other materials
  • Coordinate event registration processes, including attendee lists, badges, ticketing, and post-event surveys and campaigns
  • Monitor and evaluate event performance. Act as a strong bridge between marketing activities and sales efforts. Responsible for reporting on how activities are converting into deals and eventually dollars won.
  • Maintain the master events calendar and reusable playbooks
  • Track budgets/POs, negotiate quotes, and report weekly on attendance, meetings, and pipeline influenced
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging event technologies to suggest innovative ideas and enhance event experiences. Assist in driving the content strategy for event promotion
Who You Are
  • 2+ years in marketing, events, or operations experience, B2B experience a plus
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • CRM/MAP fluent (Salesforce/HubSpot) with strong Sheets/Excel
  • Comfortable with badge scanners/QR capture and post-event sequence support
  • Detail-obsessed logistics and operations pro who loves checklists and day-of execution; calm under pressure.
  • Clear, concise writer able to spin up invites, reminders, and recaps fast.
  • Highly organized, accountable, and deadline-driven; you own outcomes.
  • Willing to be hands-on (shipping, setup, lifting boxes) and regularly attending events as needed. Comfortable and excited about travel, as needed for events
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to think on your feet
  • Comfortable working in an environment where you may juggle admin tasks, logistics, operations, creative work, and onsite support in the same week

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (varied on experience and market rate)
